Phool makhana are considered a delicacy and are used to prepare both snack as well as dessert recipes. Kids just love eating raw and crunchy makhana. Makhana are very light and are good for eat during days of fasting.
The taste of the dessert or kheer is enhanced with the flavour of cardamoms, kesar (saffron) and dry fruits. The kheer can be served cold or hot based on personal choice but cold one tastes more delicious.
