On observing that the hawk was still flying above in search of the mouse, the Guru understood that the mouse cannot be left alone, and thus he took a leaf from a nearby Banyan tree and put the mouse on it. After this, he took another bath to purify himself.

Later, the Guru transformed the female mouse into a little girl by using his powers, and took the child to the hermitage.

Upon reaching the hermitage, he said to his wife, “This little girl is our blessing as we do not have a child, so I request you to please accept her as our own child.”

The next morning, the Guru summoned the Sun God with the use of his special powers, and said, “O Sun God, please accept my daughter as your wife and marry her, if she agrees to.”

On hearing this, the daughter said, “Dear Father, the Sun God has the power to light up the entire world. With this power, he is insufferably hot. So, I do not wish to marry him. Please search for a better husband for me.”

With her daughter’s reply in his mind, the Guru pondered, “Who could be superior to even the Sun God?”

The Sun God guided, “Guru Ji, you can seek the matrimonial alliance of the King of Clouds for your daughter. He is better than me, as he can cover me as well as my light.”

Consequently, the Guru used his powers once again and summoned the King of Clouds. On the appearance of the King of Clouds, the Guru said, “O King of Clouds, please accept my daughter as your wife and marry her, if she agrees to.”

On hearing this, the daughter said, ” Dear Father, the King of Clouds is too dark, wet and intolerably cold. So, I do not wish to marry him. Please search for a better husband for me.”

With her daughter’s reply in his mind, the Guru pondered, “Who could be superior to even the King of Clouds?”

The King of Clouds guided, “Guru Ji, you can seek the matrimonial alliance of the Lord of Winds. He is better than me, as he can blow me away.”

So the Guru, using his powers, summoned the Lord of Winds, and said, “O Lord of Winds, please accept my daughter as your wife and marry her, if she agrees to.”

On hearing this, the daughter said, “Dear Father, the Lord of Winds is extremely fast. He never stays at one place. So, I do not wish to marry him. Please search for a better husband for me.”

With her daughter’s reply in his mind, the Guru pondered, “Who could be superior to even the Lord of Winds?”

The Lord of Winds guided, “Guru Ji, you can seek the matrimonial alliance of the Lord of Mountains. He is better than me, as he can stop me from blowing.”

So the Guru, using his powers, summoned the Lord of Mountains, and said, “O Lord of Mountains, please accept my daughter as your wife and marry her, if she agrees to.”

On hearing this, the daughter said, “Dear Father, the Lord of Mountains is tremendously hard and firm. He cannot be moved. So, I do not wish to marry him. Please search for a better husband for me.”

With her daughter’s reply in his mind, the Guru pondered, “Who could be superior to even the Lord of Mountains?”

The King of Mountains guided, “Guru Ji, you can seek the matrimonial alliance of the King of Mice. He is better than me, as he can create holes all over me.”

So the Guru, using his powers, summoned the King of Mice, and said, “O King of Mice, please accept my daughter as your wife and marry her, if she agrees to.”

After meeting the King of Mice, the daughter became really happy and got ready to marry him.

The Guru then transformed his daughter to a lovely female mouse, so that she can easily be a part of the mouse clan and perform all the household duties just like the other clique members. Hence, the Guru’s daughter was happily married to the King of Mice.
